Happy Retirement

A friend's mother retired last week. We had a small cookout for her today to celebrate, and I put together a card and bouquet for her. I used the sketch for SC443 for the card.

Wildflower bouquet: White sweet clover, purple prairie clover,
yellow cone flowers, black-eyed susans, small sunflowers,
and wild bergamot.

Made using the sketch for SC443.
STAMPS: Sketches, Polka Dots & Petals (SU)
PAPER: Wausau paper (white); DCWV; and Recollections
INK: Basic Black ~ TECHNIQUE: Sponging for sky
ACCESSORIES: Colored pencils, blender pen

Part of the inside--I don't usually do the insides of cards,
but did do some stamping here.
Stamps: Sense of Time and Artifacts from Stampin' Up.

Thanks, Alice! When I sat down to make a card, both this sketch and stamp came to mind. I was pleased with the way it came together. I made or started several other cards using this sketch. Must finish 'em up so I can share!
