  1. Great list! I've been so busy writing I haven't had time to do much reading. Which book of Nora's was your favorite?

  2. I've done a tiny bit more reading lately than I have in a while. Mostly because I can't get much writing done in summer, but I can read here and there. Mostly reading ebooks, though. These look great! I feel like I should read more Nora.

  3. Wow You've been busy! Last one I finished, Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchy.
    Happy T13!

  4. I'm stuck in a rut where I don't finish books. I'll start on them and then leave them lying around and forget about them.

But seeing those, I kinda long to curl up and read a book from cover to cover.

  5. I've been writing so hard for the past five weeks, I haven't had time to read anything! My reward for finishing that project on schedule is to read Kim Knox's Lost Gods and SL Viehl's StarDoc.

  7. I sense a Nora Roberts theme here. :)

I've been reading sci-fi romance recently and have just finished book four of Bianca D'Arc's Resonance Mates series.

  9. You've been busy! And it looks like a Nora-thon. How was The Reader? I love Kate Winslet and wanted to see that movie, but never got around to it. But I've been meaning to check out the book.

  11. Stephanie - Hmm...tough question. I liked all the Nora books, but I think Black Hills would be my favorite.

Ella - I confess I don't read many ebooks. I have difficulty reading them on screen.

Adelle - Yes, just a little busy, LOL. Most of these had a writing style that made them fast, easy reads. Plus it's been a bit slow at work the last couple weeks, so I've been able to sneak some reading time in there. Shh...don't tell. ;)

Flicka - Being in a reading rut is never fun. Sometimes you just have to take a break from books. Hope you can curl up and finish one soon!

  12. David - Can't say I'm familiar with either of those authors, but hope you are able to reward yourself soon!

Chris - There's never enough time for reading, even when you've done as much as I have lately. You'd be amazed how much you can get doen on a bus/train or standing in lines.

Shelley - I tend to go in streaks with Nora. I'll read the latest couple, and then fidn myself reaching for a couple older ones--I have an entire shelf of older books not yet read. She's so prolific it's hard to keep up!

  13. Sophia - I'm not familiar with Dahl, I'll have to check her out.

Cambria - The Reader was really good, and packed an unexpected emotional punch at the end. I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet, either.

    Paige - Thanks!

    Happy Thursday!

    Mine's up.

  15. I hate to admit this but I've never read a Nora Roberts book. Now, I used to read Barbara Cartland, so that really dates me. But Nora? I seem to have skipped her.

  16. Jo - Have not read that, though I have heard a little about it.

Yvette - The thing about Nora/JD Robb is, whether you prefer straight romance, suspense, paranormal or futuristic, she's so prolific there's pretty much something for all readers.

  17. You went on quite a NR binge, didn't you? lol

I've been doing a lot of re-reading. Jory Strong's Ghostland, Linda Howard's Kill and Tell, Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. Also read Jackie Barbosa's Behind the Red Door, Fae Sutherland's Letting In the Light, and Tessa Dare's Goddess of the Hunt.

  18. Ooo I hadn't seen the one of the Noras. Excellent list.

  19. Elise - As noted above, I usually do read a number of NRs in a row. I read one, and then I just can't help reaching for something unread from her backlist.

Jennifer - What, you missed one? How did that happen??

Adelle - Hey, three is better than none!
