I'd never heard the Paul Simon song. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJourneywoman: You're welcome. It's a brand new song my local station has only been playing a couple weeks now. Kinda like it! *G*
ReplyDeleteOh geez, I've only heard of 2 of these artists. I feel so out of touch!
ReplyDeleteBut I wanted to let you know that I handmade (2) birthday cards this month! Yes, I had a lot of help! No, they didn't look quite as nice as yours!
Sigh...
I didn't think I knew many of these until I started clicking on the links.
ReplyDeleteI love Adelle! I'm also caught up in Mumford and Sons and Plain White Ts. Nice list!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT,

Wow! Another music link where I've never heard any of the selections. I'm falling waaaaaay behind, musically! (I'm old! WAAAAAHHH!!!)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
My T13 is music as well. Adele is another fav of mine. Happy T13!
ReplyDeleteThose are great songs! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOoh, a few new names. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI needed some of those! Thanks!

Bratty: Don't feel so bad--I'd have a hard time naming any rap or hiphop artists (but then, I honestly cannot stand 99.9 percent of that music).
ReplyDeleteVery cool on making your own cards. Trust me--you get better with practice. There are also a lot of sites and magazines from which you can draw inspiration. One of my favorites is Splitcoast Stampers (SCS).
Shelley: I hope that you were pleasantly surprised by what songs you knew. *g*
ReplyDeleteXakara: Sounds like we have similar tastes in music (but then, you are originally from Wisconsin *G*).
Kimberly: LOL...That's one of the greatest things about technology these days: you can listen to a lot of music online, either through live-streaming radio broadcasts or youtube.
Adelle: Can't wait to check yours out, though I might have to catch some from work tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAllstarme: Thanks, I'm glad you liked!
Darla: Thanks, happy to introduce people to a few new names/songs. :)
I've never heard of any of those! LOL! I'm more of a Lady Gaga and Rhianna girl! LOL!
ReplyDelete*hugs*

My TT is at http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com/
Harriet: I'm glad you liked!
ReplyDeletePaige: I think there are a couple here you would like, particularly Florence and the Machine and Adele.
A lot of these are visually fascinating.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. This made me feel old! I think only recognized two names on this list.
ReplyDeleteMy kids have been "forcing" me to listen more to "their" music. I love Adelle. And I like Mumford & Sons and Plain White Ts.
ReplyDeleteHappy T13!
Alice: LOL...like the videos, do you?
ReplyDeleteAnita: Sorry! :D
MAry: I can't stand a lot of the current "top 40" music, but a few like Adele and Plain White T's seem to have crossed over to the Alternative and Adult Contemp stations.
Like Shelley, I didn't think I'd heard most of these until I clicked on the links. Boy am I terrible with music artist names.
ReplyDeleteI know a few of these.
ReplyDeleteSad Songs is one of them.
Janice~
I love that "Animals" song. I wish I could get into Adele but she doesn't do much for me. I have no idea why.
ReplyDeleteGreat links!!!!
Except for Paul Simon and the Cars I hadn'[t even heard of these artists. Thanks for showing me some new music.
ReplyDeleteTatiana: I hope discovering you knew more of these than you thought was a pleasant surprise!
ReplyDeleteJanice: Good song, isn't it? :)
Jennifer: "Animals" is a fun song. At least I think it is anyway, and I have a hard time sitting still when Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" comes on.
ReplyDeleteMaddy: It was a surprise to hear that both Paul Simon and the Cars had new songs out. There's also a new one by The Doobie Brothers, but I couldn't find a decent version of it. Maybe next time. ;)
