The lilacs are in bloom at Longenecker Gardens
in the UW Arboretum. Heavenly!

    Pretty. I know they have a nice scent, but I can't remember smelling a flower before.

    I used to live with lilac bushes, which are a total pain because they put out so many runners. This time of year they redeemed themselves. Now I actually miss the blasted things.
