  4. Davis: It really did. I wish I could have seen more of the sky than just a peek through the trees.

  5. Cool and warm at the same time. They definitely has the feel of winter to them.

  6. Alice: The feel of winter...I don't suppose that has anything to do with the snow clinging to some of the trees? :D

(And yes, I know I can be a snot sometimes. You love me anyway, hehe.)

  7. That is really pretty. We don't seem to have many sunsets where we live.

  8. Thanks for visiting my blog, Heather!
We do have some dramatic skies here- this link is another one we grabbed the camera for after Hurricane Sandy blew through, back in October.

  12. Thanks, Anita. Due to southern winds, rain and dense fog we have lost a good chunk of snow cover the last few days -- but are expecting a fresh dusting of 1-2 inches tonight.

  13. LOL! Yeah, I wasn't looking at the snow at all, just the shades in the sky and the way they come together. The ground could be bone dry and the sky would still give a winter feeling to me.

  14. It certainly feels like winter this weekend. We had a mini-warm spell that melted a good portion of what we had, now it's below freezing again. Only 14F tonight with a windchill of 2F -- and will get colder overnight. *shivers*

  15. We did the same thing - a warm spell followed by shivers. Our indoor/outdoor thermometer said 14F, but the internet weather said it was actually. 5F.

  16. Yes, it's sometimes difficult to guage wind speed and what the temperature actually "feels" like. Makes a HUGE difference. Wind is calmer today, but temp only slightly warmer than yesterday.
