Thirteen things you might find on the table:

| First, an over-view of the table. No, it does not always look this orderly. Note the white paper laid down in the actual stamping space. This is important for protecting the table surface and testing ink combos and design before stamping on cardstock. |

| 1. Punches. I have at least 50 punches, in a variety of shapes and sizes. Here you see a couple of circles, a square, a ribbon punch, and a scalloped border punch. |

| 2. Stamps, both wood and clear. The vast majority are from Stampin' Up, but Inkadinkado, Hero Arts and Stampendous are also well represented. |

| 3. Brads, in assorted colors and sizes 4. Paper flowers from Prima and Hero Arts 5. Stamp cleaning pad (the black thing) |

| 6. Ink pads, all from Stampin' Up. These are only a few of my most-used colors. I have dozens more at my disposal. |

| 7. Cards in progress. |

| 8. Assorted ribbon and fibers (The tissue box holds ribbon remnants) 9. Cutting and scoring tool--the orange piece at top is a ruler that swings out for measuring cardstock. The orange blade cuts, black blade scores. |

| 10. Tools -- scissors, ruler, hole piercing kit, stamp cleaner, etc. |

| 11. Assorted paper -- this stack changes with the seasons and by project. I have stacks of paper, including an entire bin just for Christmas. 12. Sketches (templates) printed from online for inspiration. |

| 13. Tombow Mono Adhesive (two-sided tape in a dispenser) and dimensionals for putting things together. BONUS -- 14. Box for finished cards. |

I had recently put away a stack of stamp sets and other items no longer being used prior to taking photos. Thanks for stopping by--I loved all your furry paws this week.

I'm not sure I know what a Brad is. I have a lot of stamps but haven't used them in many years.

ReplyDeleteIt's a great set-up, though. Dining tables are so much better than actual desks to spread out and work at, aren't they? Whenever I take on a huge project (scrapbooking,etc) I tend to set mine up at the table, too and then it looks as though a scrapbooking factory threw up all over my dining room. I'm still finding scraps under the table from the last project I worked on last August. :-D
BTW, using an empty Kleenex box for holding scrap paper is genius! I'm definitely stealing that idea.

ReplyDeleteAnthony: This table can be quite busy at times, and sometimes so disorganized I can't find what I am looking for. Every couple weeks I have to stop what I'm doing and clean up a bit, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Novroz! Believe me, it doesn't always look this organized, and this is only a fraction of all the crafting supplies I own. Half of my spare room/office is dedicated to storing stamping supplies.
ReplyDeleteMia: Ha! As I keep saying -- and mentioned at top of my post -- this table doesn't always look this tidy. It often looks like a craft store exploded.
ReplyDeleteColleen: Brads are small metal fasteners that look similar to a nail, but the shank on the back folds down to secure them to your paper. You can see some basic ones here, though SU also has some pretty antique ones. I much prefer them to eyelets.
ReplyDeleteJana: You would guess correctly--I rarely eat at the dining room table. My table has two leaves to extend the length, which gives me even more space to sprawl.
ReplyDeleteI use the tissue box for ribbon only. You know -- the bits left over at the end of a spool, or when you cut a piece too short, or decide you don't like the first color afterall. The remnants all go in this box to easily corral them. I also have ziplock bags of leftover embroidery floss from kits.
For paper scraps I use a large shoe box. Every once in a while I force myself to sit down with nothing but that box and use them up in "scrap" cards.
That is a lot of stuff - and a very neat table. Wow.

ReplyDeletePaige: The available supplies for scrapbooking and cardmaking is not only cool, but there is so much of it compared to a decade or two ago. It can also be quite the expensive hobby. All those stamps and tools really add up fast!
ReplyDeleteOh, Pearl, honey -- there are tons of different punches available these days. Mpst of mine are made by Marvy Uchida, but I also have a few from Stampin' Up and Martha Stewart. As for ink pads...hundreds of different colors! *G*

ReplyDeleteAlice: Umm...Last weekend. We actually had SUN both Saturday and Sunday. We also had a little bit of sun on Tuesday and Wednesday, though not as much as the weekend. Yesterday and tody? Blech! Gray, gray skies and more rain. Which, I know is better than the snow some areas are getting, but still. We've had a LOT of rain this spring.

ReplyDeleteGal: Thank you, it's nice to have a "large" work space. I was using a small card table previously, which was not all that sturdy. You can see some of the cards I've done (including the ones shown in the photos here) by clicking on the "Cards" tag. ;-)

And remember, this is only a teeny tiny fraction of all my crafting supplies. I have more than a hundred stamp sets, dozens of inks, and a large assortment of embellishments. Hehe...
