I am currently halfway through Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert, the August selection for a Goodreads classics group. Very readable writing style, and I am liking it so far.

After the pain of this disappointment had gone, her heart stood empty once more; and then the series of identical days began all over again. (Pg 70)
