Thanks for the tour and information about the statues. I need to get down there again one of these days. My favorite time to visit the capitol building is in December--when it's decorated and all the Christmas activities happen. :)
ReplyDeleteBeth: I'm glad you enjoyed the virtual tour. I haven't been up town in December in a couple years now, as I am usually too busy. Methinks I need to try to get up there this year. ☺
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Freda! ☺
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sculptural work.
ReplyDeleteYou sure had a pretty summer sky for a backdrop! My favorite is the Knowledge statues. Fellow bookworms. :-)

ReplyDeleteRajesh: Isn't it impressive?
ReplyDeleteLaloofah: It honestly was the perfect summer day -- warm without being too hot, and a refreshing breeze off the lakes.
Carol: Thank you, I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop than I had that day. ☺
ReplyDeleteRiet: Thank you, Karl Bitter certainly did impressive work. :)
Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alice! ☺
ReplyDeleteIt's like they are living on as gods in the sky.
