You heard correct. We had about two inches earlier in the month. Then it was 50F this past weekend, and it rained all day Sunday, melting all the snow. Then the rain changed to snow most of Monday. Madison picked up more than five inches, a new record for that day. Not even December, and we're already tying and breaking records. *whimper*
I'll bet the prairies look beautiful with all these hints of red.

It's a little surreal. Is the field covered in snow yet?
ReplyDeleteIt is after yesterday. We had rain all day Sunday, and then it changed to snow Monday morning and fell throughout the day. 3-5 inches across our area.
ReplyDeleteI heard parts of Wisconsin picked up 7 inches a few days ago. We got a dusting but it melted despite some bitter temperatures.
