Ugh, I hear that! I miss the crabapple that was in front of my old apartment, but it was the kind that had berry-size fruit. A friend of mine has a variety that produces large apples, golf ball size or a bit bigger and that thing is a royal pain. Between us we raked up more than 20 50-gallon buckets last year. Talk about a pain in the back! And you have to rake them up or you can't mow a 10-foot radius under the stupid tree.
My mother is fond of crabapple. Me... not so much. She made me rake up the "apples"
