| I saw this little guy while wandering one of the local bike paths. They usually skitter away into the brush, but this one held completely still -- "If I don't move, maybe she won't see me!" (By the way, that's an acorn in Chip's mouth) |
Love to watch these little buddies. They seem especially plentiful in the garden this year (and so do the acorns ;-) ).

ReplyDeleteI actually like chipmunks, tough one once stole a Hostess Cupcake from me when I was a kid. I didn't realize it was a chipmunk and blamed by sister. Big fight. Still, they are less vindictive than squirrels.
ReplyDeleteAlice: They're cute, but major pigs, and they shoo all the birds away from the feeders if you don't take measures to prevent them getting into them. We've actually caught them sitting INSIDE the feeders. That was before friends bought baffles. :D
