Skywatch Friday 61

A couple weeks ago, a friend and I ventured uptown for the weekly Dane County Farmers' Market. As we turned up a row of the parking ramp in search of an empty space, my friend suddenly burst into laughter and exclaimed, "Look!"

This is what we saw:

Naturally, I had to get a closer view. It turns out the cow — a remnant of CowParade Wisconsin — is perched on the back of the Madison Children's Museum. The museum has two levels of rooftop gardens, and this was the view I saw as I walked up the hill towards the cow:

And here's a closer look at the cow (read more about him here: Marbelized). Check out that blue-blue sky behind. It was a perfect spring day: warm and sunny with just a hint of a breeze.

Here's a final close-up of the lower rooftop garden — I couldn't get a good view of the top garden from street level.

  6. I like the very first photo of the cow. It looks as if it's just hanging out.
