I like the Weigelas. We have one here, and we used to have a few at our old house. I don't see as many of them in home landscaping as in the past. The medium size of the shrub is convenient, and the bright, red blooms are beautiful.
Beth: The corner apartment building on my block has these flanking their walkway, and they always catch my attention. I like the fact they bloom throughout the summer.
