My thoughts in words and pictures...
What a beautiful momma bird! Sherylhttp://www.libertyhillhouse.com/2013/05/12/beautiful-bouquets/
Wow -- great series. I just love robin's egg blue and you've captured the color (and eggs) beautifully.
such a cute little bird! :) Happy Wordless Wednesday! My entry is here.
Sheryl: Isn't she a pretty mama bird? And fairly trusting, since she allowed me to get within a few feet of her nest. Beth F: Thank you! Robin's egg blue is such a vibrant, pretty color, isn't it? Thanks, Rebecca!
She looks suspicious. haha Pretty bird and lovely eggs. Great shots, Trix. :)
I came across a robins egg like that yesterday. It always feel so magical ... so small and so blue.
Jana: Wouldn't you be suspicious of strangers checking out your nest? With hawks, raccoonc and coyotes in the area, she has reason to be cautious, though her nest is pretty safe from at least two of the predators.
Colleen: Oh, I hope you were able to share that with your grandsons. I bet they would love seeing birds' eggs.
Hey, I'm suspicious of ANYONE who comes to my "nest." haha I completely get her. ;-)
I hear that, LOL, though I'm suspicious of neighbors in general (and we both know for good reason!).
