Wordless Wednesday
Create With Joy
ETA:
I have to rant a little. A couple times while visiting other blogs for Wordless Wednesday or for Skywatch Friday during the last couple weeks, I've written comments -- only to discover when I hit "post" that the poster only allows FB members to comment, and have no linky ap for those not on FB. Why?? Why do people assume that everyone is on FB when, in fact, only one in seven people are? Why do people limit the number of people who can comment on their photos? If you aren't going to allow comments, why post? Why share your link? Or do you really not care whether people visit you, whether people comment? Personally, I appreciate those who take the time to comment on my posts and leave a link so I can return the visit. But . . . I guess that's just me.
(Rant over.)

These are great photos, Heather. We don't have anything like this. It must take them a while to put them out.
Thanks, Shelley -- I know I was impressed. They seemed to do it all in one weekend. When I went by on a Friday night there wasn't so much as a tombstone up, but two days later they had most of it done.
I love it when people go all out for Halloween! We don't any more. No trick or treaters and our creative son is now 33 and no longer lives here. Not that that is a bad thing...
Rebecca: I have a friend who does a little decorating, but nothing like this house. It is interesting to see the tableaux some people come up with.
Yep...they definitely go all out!!! I think I did that one or two years way back when...complete with a banshee recording!!! But never anything close to this!!!
Great photos, Heather!
I love the ghost pirate theme they have going on. It's creepy but in a fun way. ;)
Holy cow, that is really all out! Very cool...
Chieftess: Ohh...banshee. That would be cool. Living in an apartment most of my life, it's difficult to do anything the likes of this. I think it could be fun to do, though a lot of work.
Thanks, Jana! "Creepy but in a fun way..." -- I like that! And quite true, of course. I wonder if they have spooky sound effects to go with the floodlights? ☺
Evelyn: Thanks for stopping by - it is pretty cool, isn't it? I wonder if they've ever thought of asking their neighbors if they could borrow some of their yard. A friend has considered doing that with one of her neighbors at Christmas. *G*
Aggghhhhh! I think my grandsons would be scaredy cats!
I like the pirate in the boat and the spider man.
Colleen: Nah...boys love this kind of stuff! : D
Alice: The spider man...guess that's one way to think of him, LOL.
Yeah, I thought twice before posting the comment, then decided to let it ride.
Well, he is wrapped in some sort of net or web... ☺
