Beth: It is a pity some flowers don't bloom longer in our area. Daffodils are pretty much done and tulips are almost gone already, but the tall iris in front of my building are starting to bloom. Only three blossoms so far, but the rest are about to pop -- provided we don't get hit with another frost.

Very pretty, Heather. I wish they would last a little longer, don't you? Springtime is a fast, fickle season.

Is that out by the capital building? I don't see banks of them like that showing up in the Arboretum, but maybe I'm wrong.
Alice: How astute of you! They are indeed outside the Capitol. ☺
So pretty and happy!
Thanks, Jana! ☺
pretty!
Thank you! ☺
It was just a wild guess. They made me think of the grounds around the capitol.
