Beautiful blooms, Heather! Seems we're moving into the summer blooms quickly now...
Beth: Thank you -- and yes, we are. The blooming cycle seems to be picking up speed. I've noticed half a dozen new species blooming along the bike path this week, including one of my favorites -- the tall beardtongue. Too bad it only blooms a few weeks.
these are just lovely. Spring sort of slides away from us at this point, and suddenly it's summer...not, you understand, that I'm complaining =)
They are just dripping with loveliness and make me happy to see!
Whole trees full of blooms are so pretty.
Mittens: Thank you. We are sliding into summer pretty fast now, aren't we? Only a week away!
Colleen: *Blush* Thank you!
Alice: They are indeed! Gotta love this time of year when there seems to be some tree or shrub constantly in bloom. Right now it's the Japanese tree lilacs.
Those are lovely! I love the Wiegala (?), they're not something I am familiar with. Beautiful shots.
Beautiful flowers; it has to be the mot beautiful arboretum. Gorgeous.
Wow, beautiful. I love flowering trees. Thanks for the eye candy.
Anita: The weigela are one of my favorite spring blossoms I discovered at Longenecker. Pretty, and they come in such a wide variety of colors.
Sallie: I may be biased, but I do think it a beautiful place to visit. There are so many different areas, from woodlands to prairie, wetlands to horticultural gardens. There's something new to see every week!
Mia: Thank you, and you're welcome! ☺
