Thanks, Lea -- wish I could have gotten better pics, but the sky was cloudy to overcast all afternoon. If I tried to photograph from one angle, it was too dark, from another, I'd get some weird light. Some days you can't win, LOL.
It's very pretty. Actually many photographers believe overcast skies make for better photos - not as likely to be "washed out" is, I believe, their reasoning. At any rate, I like your shot and thank you for sharing it at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-cats-of-san-juan.html
Sue: partly cloudy skies make for better pics than a clear blue sky, but a heavily overcast sky can be too dark for photography, depending on what you are trying to shoot. It was okay for most of the floral shots, but terrible for trying to capture the hawks in flight.
