I really enjoyed the first book in the Divergence series. I hope the movie lives up to the book.

Shelley: I've been interested in reading that one, though I keep hearing the first book is good, the other two not so much. Will be interesting to see how the movie does. I hope they did a better job with it than was done with Beautiful Creatures or City of Bones.

I agree. I loved Beautiful Creatures but did not like the movie. I am going to see Divergent. I have read the book. I also am planning to readn and The Stars book. Can't remember the exact title. Anyway, I also recommend The Giver. It was a great book. Thanks for sharing this info. I love learning about books about to me made into movies.

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!! I don't think I could ever read it again. It's sad.
But the movie looks AWESOME!!

Mary: I think people were more likely to like Beautiful Creatures if they hadn't read the book first. About the only thing I liked about the movie was Viola Davis as Amma and Jeremy Irons as Uncle Macon. I would like to read and see Divergent.

Colleen: A lot of these have great casts, even the few whose books or movies didn't really interest me.

Heather said...

Paige: Wasn't The Giver a good book? I'll have to keep an eye out for the trailer.

Heather said...

Jennifer: The movie does look good, but I don't know if I could handle the book.

I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies, but I recognize some of the titles from Teaser Tuesday

I LOVED A Long Way Down - I have to re-read it before watching the movie though.

Heather said...

Alice: For some reason I thought you had read The Giver. And yes, a lot of these have been mentioned on various Teaser Tuesday posts (only one by me, though).

Heather said...

Kimberly: The movie looks really good. I might have to search out the book as well.

I've not read any of these. The Give with Meryl Streep looks interesting, but then I really like her work.

Heather said...

Anita: The Giver is really good, and easy to read in one day. Should be interesting to see how the movie compares.

I added a couple of these on Gooodreads. Winter's Tale is one of them, and I can't wait to see the movie. This is a great list.

Endless Love. David did not set a "perfectly safe" fire in the movie. Nice 13. I tried the trailers but they're all Error 404 or something?

Heather said...

Hazel: ARGH! Blogger messed with me again (and you all know I'm thinking of a stronger word than "messed"). They did that to me last week, too. This week I was looking for it, and thought I had caught them all, but missed some, or it happened after I posted.

What happened is that stupid blogger inserted a link to their own site inside the html for the movie trailers. Links are all fixed now and better stay that way.

MJ: Winter's Tale is a book/movie that has intrigued me since seeing the movie trailer during the Olympics. It looks good!

Alice Audrey said...

I'm not recognizing it by title, but there are a lot of books I've read but don't remember the title of.

Heather said...

Alice: I hear that! It's why I keep a book list.
