Happy St Patrick's Day

A card for the day, combining my two top hobbies

St. Patrick's Day Cards

I whipped a couple of St. Patrick's Day cards this week for my niece and a couple of Irish friends. These cards fit both CAS315 (use ribbon) and a recent sketch challenge, SC530.

Materials:

Stamps: Lucky (Studio G); Stamp Holidays (EK Success)
Cardstock: Cafe Mediterranean (DCWV); Green (Darice)
Ink: Garden Green (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Seasonal ribbon, Circle punches (EK Success), Dimensionals

LSC205 (CAS) -- Shamrock

Last week's Limited Supply Challenge (LSC205) at SCS was to make cards that were "clean and simple" -- cards that did not feature tons of layers or embellishments or fancy techniques. In other words, a challenge right up my alley. I know St. Patrick's Day is more than a month away, but these were the materials lying on my desk this past weekend, so that is what I used.

Stamps: Shamrock (Inkadinkado)
Paper: White (Xerox Cardstock), Scrap of Green (DCWV)
Ink: Green Galore
Accessories: Ribbon (JoAnn's), Corner Rounder Punch

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Stamps: I wish I could name this set of clear Irish stamps, but I seem to have misplaced them since making these cards. Don't you hate it when things go missing like that??
Ink: Green Galore
Paper: DCWV patterned paper; white (Xerox cardstock); Green Galore, Old Olive (SU)
Accessories: Ribbon (JoAnn's), Punches (Marvy)

Happy St Patrick's Day!

A quick and easy card for St. Patty's Day...

The verse says:
"The Irish--Be they kings, or poets or farmers,
They're a people of great worth,
They keep company with the angels,
And bring a bit of heaven here to earth."

It was typed and printed out several to a sheet, then trimmed down and corners rounded with my corner rounder.

Details:

Paper: Certainly Celery, Handsome Hunter, White (SU)
Accessories: Computer & Printer, Shamrock Stickers (Frances Meyer)
