I love how this picture turned out, though the computer image fails to do it justice. It was taken in the new rose garden at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, July 30. Friends and I had spent the morning at the Farmer's Market on the Capitol Square, followed by the "Blooming Butterflies" exhibit at the Bolz Conservatory at Olbrich. We wandered around inside, admiring the butterflies as they danced along rays of bright sunshine, before touring the gardens. I'll post more of my flower and butterfly pictures throughout the month.
