My Friends Are Crafty, Too

I have a lot of friends who are just as crafty as I am, so I thought I'd share some of the handmade cards received so far this Christmas.

This is from the talented Lovely Laura, a fellow Diva and one of the Aussie contingent. The angel and flowers are gold embossed.

These frosty friends are from sorority sister and former college roommate, Robin K.

This is from another Aussie and fellow Diva, Babe -- her oldest son did the quilling on the snowman. Isn't he clever?

The woodland angel is from one of my stamping buddies, DaeJean. I love her red and green country plaid!

"Peace, Love, Joy" is the message my long-time friend and fellow stamping addict Kim sends this year. The greeting is stamped in silver ink, and she used glitter for the center of the poinsettias stamped on the red.

Those are gorgeous!

I'm a fellow Wisconsinite from SCS, and I was excited I clicked on your blog to see you are a writer too! Did you participate in NaNoWriMo?

I started stamping back in June and love it!

Hi TK!

Ah, another Wisconsin SCS-er! Cool! I've been stamping about 6 years now, and had done scrapbooks long before that. I've been concentrating on stamping so much lately that I'm woefully behind on the books. Must do some catching up in 2006!

I have a few friends that did NaNo, but I'm not quite that masochistic. Though I've had a couple story ideas floating around, I've mostly been doing articles the last couple years-- first for a writering group's monthly newsletter, and more recently some for Romance Divas. I have several in progress right now, with at least one I think might work for an actual paying market.

Thanks for stopping by, TK!

Thanks, Laura - and thank you to your sister as well.

Ugh! on running out. Certainly been there and had to scramble to make more. I now make 10-20 more than I think I need, and any unused get donated the next year.
