Winter Trees

Though this photo was taken last winter, this is very much what we are looking at tonight. We had a winter storm advisory in effect all day. The snow started to fall before 5am and continued through the afternoon and evening, occasionally mixed with rain or sleet. Nevermind how treacherous it's made the roads, the trees are glorious in their white shrouds and the usual city noises muffled by banks of snow.

Brrrrr...Heather, that picture makes me shiver. hehehe Very beautiful pic, though.

Know what our trees look like? Wet. The whole world looks wet and soggy right now. Yuck!

Thank you - it's one of my favorites. Not bad for a simple 35mm, huh?

And Jana, hon...I'd much rather have snow-covered trees than soggy ones. Mine are prettier! :-D
