After the Tornado -- 4

These are the last two pictures taken after the tornados of August 2005, and two of my favorites as well -- especially the bottom one. I love the coloring and how you can see the shifting clouds. In the top one you can also see black spots that look like forming twisters. There's one top left, and two others right in the middle. You can see by the sky that it was starting to get dark at this point, with just enough light to set the clouds afire.

Wow, Trix. These two are almost violently beautiful, if that makes any sense. Love 'em.

Yes, makes perfect sense! I think that's what I like about them. Thanks Jana! :)

OMG -- These barely look like clouds! Very cool!

Now that I look at them again, they kind of remind me of that pyroclastic (sp?) cloud in Dante's Peak.

Thank you, Margie!

Lynn - I'd forgotten about that cloud in Dante's Peak (yes, it was spelled right) but you're right - it does sort of look like that.
