Worrying About the Audience

Just read a terrific short post on one of my favorite stamping blogs, Paperlicious, about a subject I think we ALL need reminding of from time to time. Whether we be stampers, writers, stitchers, photographers, or creative individuals in other ways, it's all too easy to become wrapped up in what the audience will think, instead of focusing on creating the very best we can. Everyone needs to be validated from time to time, and you want your audience to enjoy what you do, but if you are concentrating only on what the recipient or viewer or reader will think, you lose focus and forget the real reason for doing what you do -- the love of craft. I urge you now -- get thee over to Joan's blog, and read what she has to say!
