Happy Birthday Mrs. M.

This one is for a friend's mother, whose birthday is the day after my mom's. Our mothers went to HS together, and the two of us became friends in 6th grade. Yup, some friendships do last that long! In fact, we're still in touch with most of our HS friends. This was the first time I've played with this stamp set since I got it back the end of June. That's the problem with getting too many new "toys" all at once -- I haven't had a chance to use them all yet! This one is a versatile set from SU that allows you to set your trees in any season. I dug out the "Autumn Leaves" Kaleidacolor ink pad for the fall foliage and added in a bit of Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery to represent those leaves not yet changed to red, orange or gold.

Stamps: Trees Three (Stampin' Up); Birthday wishes (Savvy Stamps)
Paper: Old Olive, White, non-SU orange and brown
Ink: Basic Brown, Garden Green (grass--which is still quite green here), Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Autumn Leaves Kaleidacolor
Accessories: Ticket corner punch; Ivory grosgrain from Offray; Plaid nylon ribbon from Joann's
