Seize the Cupcake

A few weeks ago during the rare visit to Archiver's (I'd visit more frequently if it wasn't so out of the way), I found this new clear stamp set by Hero Arts and knew instantly I had to have it. Isn't this a fun-looking set? Lots of different cupcakes to choose from, as well as a variety of toppings and sayings.

I finally had a chance to play with it last week when I was in need of more birthday cards for friends and family. Why do I know so many people with March birthdays? NOT that it isn't the best month for birthdays to fall. Hehe.... Here's a first sampling from this scrumptious stamp set, using the SCS sketch challenge from two weeks ago, SC167.

Stamps: Cupcakes (Hero Arts)
Paper: DCWV
Ink: Basic Black (SU)
Accessories: Markers (Le Plume), Fruit Punch Stickles (Ranger), Grosgrain Ribbon (Joann's)

Oh you artist you.

It is funny how so many of our friends and family's birthdays seem to cluster around certain seasons. I've noticed that again and again.
