Did I mention MaryJanice is coming to my convention next February?

I can't wait to meet her!

I wish I had the time to read all those books!

The last book I finished was Nightkeepers by Jessica Anderson (got it from a friend who got it from RWA SF) A new series about the Mayan legends.

Oh, I haven't read the Stephanie Meyers books yet, but they're definitely on my TBR list. I'm catching up on a ton of ebooks. I really need to get an ereader!

Come on over and visit my T13.

I'm reading "No One Heard Her Scream" by Jordan Dane. I got the book at the conference and I'm just now getting to it.

Let me know how "Murder List" was. I've seen it, but hesitated to buy it.

Great list! I recently read You Don't Know Jack by Erin McCarthy and loved it!

Maggie~ No, you did NOT mention MJD was attending February's convention. Bad Maggie! Will have to check out Nightkeepers!

Nina~ I came late to the Twilight series, picking it up after the movie trailer intrigued me. Was glad I found them late as I was able to devour all four, one right after another. I found them difficult to put down!

Jennifer~ I just got No One Heard Her Scream in the mail from a friend who attended conference. Can't wait to read it! Murder List languished on my TBR pile for a few years before I finally picked it up. It was pretty good ~ another one I had trouble putting down at night, especially when I was so close to the end.

Paige~ I've been hearing good things about EM's book. may have to check it out!

Hey, are the "Undead" books any good? Amazon keeps trying to sell them to me because I ordered the Glory St. Claire vampire series from them. I'm tempted but don't want to waste any hard to come by cash. lol

Jana~ Yes, they are good - and this is coming from the person who doesn't usually care for vampires. They are a chick lit series, and while there is some strong language in them, they are real page turners - and funny ones at that! I found my way to them via a novella published in the Cravings anthology. I liked that story enough to search out the first book, then had to find the rest. I currently have four more in the series awaiting my attention.

I'm reading Twilight right now, and those Undead books look cool!

Hey Savvy! Hope you're enjoying Twilight. The Undead books are pretty cool--definitely different!

I'll be honest and say the MJD book I read didn't really do it for me. But then I'm not really a chick-lit type of gal.

But I just finished the Jordan Dane book as well as a Geralyn Dawson romantic suspense. I started a debut book by Jo Davis. Can't remember the title, but it's about a firefighter. I got it at one of the book signings at RWA. But I'm ticked because when I got to page 24, it went back to the first page. Then after the second page 24, it went straight to 57. Obviously a misbinding. Grrr.

Ah reading... I went browsing through the bookstore yesterday. I got a coupon with 50% off any paperback novel I wanted. Had to choose that one carefully. Got "The Righteous Men" by Sam Bourne. I'll let you know if it's any good.

So, have you gotten the rest of the undead-novels yet? Or "Sleeping with the Fishes"? Gotta love the mermaids.

Maggie: Yep, you mentioned that. I turned frog-green. :) Please let her know we love her books.

Jana: Those MJD's undead-series is good. Funny funny funny! No wasting of your hard earned money there.

Nina, who's going to bed with her new book.

I've been meaning to read, but I've slacked off the past couple of weeks. Probably because of football season... :)

Hi Chloe! I'm not usually a chick lit sort of gal either, so was surprised how much I liked this series. As for your misprinted book, contact the publisher right away and tell them about your book. They should replace it for free. Or, take it to your nearest bookstore and tell them you want to exchange it for a good version. They won't be out anything as it will be reported to the publisher.

Savannah~ I've managed a lot more reading in recents weeks than at beginning of the year. Of course, it helps that some of these books have been real page turners and fast reads. I hope you get time for some reading soon!

Nina~ I have books 5 and 6, plus one of the anthologies, but am waiting for another anthology to arrive before continuing the Undead series. I discovered the story in the missing book is sort of necessary before reading book 5. And why do I doubt you actually went to bed??

RJ~ LOL...normally football season would be a distraction here as well, but I'm having trouble getting behind the Packers this year. At least Charter finally came to their senses and has added BTN to their lineup so I can watch all the Badger games! *VBG*

Hi Janice! The Undead books are a fun and quick read. I was amazed at how fast I breezed through them. And, well...Sinclair is rather yummy for a vampire. *g*

I haven't read any must reads in the last week or so, but I see a couple on your list I might pick up.
