A picture taken at yesterday's Farmer's Market, which was braved despite the fierce, cold wind and spotty showers. This time of year, the market is mostly garden plants (flower, herb and vegetable) and baked goods--though rhubarb (yuk!), asparagus (double yuk!) and spinach (yum!) also seemed abundant this week.

I thought you liked asparagus. I love the stuff, but it's so expensive.
What??? Asparagus is great! Broccoli- now you're talking double yuk!!
The petunias are gorgeous.
Alice: Nope, don't like asparagus. I tend to like a lot of fruits and veggies others dislike, though. Like Spinach. lol
Kaye: Umm...I actually like broccoli. And spinach and brussel sprouts. Yes, I know - I'm weird. Hehe...
I love spinach. And broccoli. Cauliflower, on the other hand...
broccoli I can handle. Asperagus if I must. Spinach? Just the baby kind in a salad, thanks. (Or the spinach soufle at the fancy pants restaraunt in Grenada, please?)
But brussel sprouts? Blech!
LOL
The petunias are gorgeous. Mine are just about as pretty and lush.
Alice: I think we can agree that cauliflower is just plain evil. *g*
Jana: Brussel sprouts are goooood - especially served up with a little melted butter or cheese sauce. The spinach souffle sounds like something I would try.
I'm glad everyone likes the petunias! :)
These are so beautiful! Thanks for the cheery pic :)
You're welcome, Stacy. Glad you liked!
