LILIES


On one of my evening walks a few weeks ago, I passed a house built on a hillside. The entire hill from sidewalk to lawn above was covered with lilies of every color--yellow, purple, orange, red. It was absolutely stunning!

Gorgeous. Did you take one with the whole hill? It has such a jungle feel to it.

No, I didn't, but hope to go back that way some night when I've completely hosed down in bug spray. The mosquitoes were horrible the few seconds I paused to take this one photo.

Well, I wandered back that way this evening after dinner, but either the storms or the deer have had their way with the lilies, as there were very few in bloom this week. Perhaps later in the summer...
