Wild Strawberries

Those look like wild black berries to me.

Oh, no - they are definitely strawberries. The blackberries were in another area and much more plentiful - provided you could get to them, which I couldn't. The risk of poison ivy just isn't worth it, LOL.

No no no no! They are definitely strawberries. They are lower to the ground and not as brambly as the blackberries and raspberries. Come back tomorrow and I'll show you raspberries!

They don't seem to be shaped right. Did man kind really warp the plant so much when we domesticated it?

I thought they were raspberries, too. All yummy to me, heh!

Sigh... Y'all are just killin' me - Kill-in' me!. Trust me, these are wild strawberries. Yes, I know they look nothing like the berries you buy at the supermarket. They're a lot smaller and shaped a bit differently, but they are most definitely strawberries. Also, you don't have to break your back bending over or squat down to pick the raspberries as you do these.
