I snapped these Monday evening as a friend and I were going west on the Beltline, headed out to Shopko (they had Psych Season 1 on sale at a third the regular price!) and Barnes & Noble. Good thing I tried capturing this gorgeous sunset from the highway as we could not see it once we exited at the mall. These are posted in sequence--click any one for a larger view!

Are there that many trees or buildings around Shopko? You aren't talking about the Shopko out by the airport, are you? That one should have had a good view.

Alice: WEST side of town, dear. There's a Shopko and B&N behind West Towne Mall. That side of town is so built up now that no, we could NOT see the setting sun behind the stores. There are actually four Shopko's in town now. The other three are Aberg Ave (near airport), Zeier Rd (near East Towne Mall), and Broadway (South Towne Mall).
