Ah, yes. These are popping up around here as well, except the farmers around here seem to prefer the round bales. I like the round bales, too. They just look pretty. ;-)
Yes, there are a few around here that do the round bales, too. I was hoping they'd do the collecting on a day I was working, but no such luck--they did it on a weekend, depriving me of another photo op.
Talks me back to the good old days before all the hay was rolled up into big rolls. I have to remind myself that the squared off version was only a result of the machinery available at the time.

True, they were. To be honest, I think I see more corn husks rolled into round bales than hey.
Oh, so that's why they looked funny.
