I always make more cards than I need. For one, you never know when you're going to need an extra or two. Second, any leftovers can be sold or donated the following year. It's a win-win situation.

Two dozen cards! That is awesome. Love that collage image, too. You've made some beautiful cards with it.
Thanks, Susan! The two dozen mentioned here were just the tip of the iceberg. I made about 40 more in a blue color scheme, which will post later this week.
I love all these, Trix! I love the image but I also love the use of the brads (aren't they called brads?). They give the cards that extra kick of "special."
Jana: Yes, I used brads on all of these. I used up a bunch of Christmas ones, then reduced my stock of round ones by at least half. They're a quick, easy way to add a little bling!
Nothing wrong with making extra, especially the way you go through them.
BTW, Mr. Al leaned over my desk and looked at these. Said they were very Japanese, only with poinsettias instead of maple leaves.
Alice: Yes, i do send out a lot of cards, I freely admit it--and not just for Christmas. But hey, my friends all benefit...right? *G*
And please thank Mr. Al for the compliment (though I personally cannot take credit for the stamp design).
These are so much nicer than store bought ones. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Shelley! : )
I'll say! I love the blue. Yours was the only Christmas card I received this year.
Only mine? That makes me even happier I sent one! I've had 18 so far, and expect there will be another half dozen or so trickle in before end of the year. I still have not heard from my Norwegian family, and they are usually one of the first I receive. Very odd...
