I'm sure the polar bears at the zoo are rather confused by the weather of late, and they're not alone. First we get five inches of snow and "normal" winter temps for a couple days, then it suddenly rises from 32F to 62F, seemingly overnight, only to plunge back down to the 30s before starting to rise above normal again--up to 70F by end of next week, for heaven's sake! To say we've had a weird and unusual winter would be an understatement...

It sounds much like the weird summer we've been having. I always think polar bears look so cute. I hear they're actually quite ferocious!
Yep, I think everyone is suffering from the crazy weather!
Shelley: Yes, they are rather ferocious, despite how cute they look. I wouldn't want to run into one in the wild!
Susan: It's good to know we aren't suffering alone! ;)
Nice shot. It *is* crazy weather!
Crazy, indeed. Friday it was 34F. Saturday and Sunday we were in the low 60s, and it's supposed to be in low 70s Wed and Thurs.
And then, of course, we'll probably get a blizzard.
Count me in with weird weather. Cold, windy, hot, humid, raining... No snow yet but never say never. ;-)
Love Polar bears and this is a great shot, Trix!
Jana: Indeed -- never say never, lol!
We're not quite as extreme, but we've been having similar weather. Only around here, that's normal for this time of year.
Hey, Alice! Did you see who Wisconsin plays Thursday in the NCAA men's basketball tourney? Montana! :D
