Here are the latest pics from my newest cross-stitch project—though I doubt these will help you figure out the design any more than the first week's pictures did. This design is of a popular print by one of my favorite artists. I actually have a pillow of this design received as a Christmas present some years back. And yes—the artist has been mentioned on this blog before.WEEK 2 PROGRESS:

Wait until you see how much work I've done in week four! *grin*

Not a clue. lol I can't wait to see it continue to take shape. :)
Hehe... Thanks Jana! I actually had quite a bit done and then I had to undo everything I did last week when I discovered I was a row off--and I swear and double and triple checked my stitch count. *whimper*
It looks very intricate, whatever it is.
Anita: The border is pretty easy, for the most part, but there are other sections of it that are a bit more intricate, with lots of 1/4 and 3/4 stiches and a ton of french knots.
It reminds me of a dragon.
Ouch on the unpicking. That takes just as long as the stitching. I've learned this from experience!
Shelley: I think the unpicking has taken me longer than the actual stitching. Thankfully, I finished taking it out last night and was able to start stitching again. Here's hoping that was my one big mistake for this project!
I think I'd have had to have a good long cry and a fuss before I got around to unpicking. lol I've never been into cross stitch but I recall a few occasions in crocheting that I had to rip out a few chains and start over. It made me so mad! :-D
Believe me, I was ready to cry. I'm sure there was a wee bit of whimpering when I realized what I had done. At least a crocheted mistake is easier to undo.
