A Single Flower

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.

Love tulips. Someday I'm going to plant an entire half acre on my property with them and pray the deer don't eat them.

Somday maybe I'll be into gardening.

Jana: Buy some bulbs in the fall and get it done! When they start to come in the spring, you can scatter mothballs in the area where they are planted, or you can plant with other bulbs the bunnies don't like as much.

For maximum effect, plant the bulbs close together, but not touching. You can also do two layers of bulbs--again, not touching.

If you want something more bunny-proof, plant them in a large container. This needs to be done in the fall, just like if you were planting them in the ground, but if you buy a large enough container, you can plant them in two or three layers, then insolate and keep the pot in a garage or shed.

That sounda like a lot of work. lol I planted three pots of begonias this weekend and wore myself out. hehehe

I like the IDEA of flowers, just not the actual work. ;-)

That's pretty much how I am. Probably a good thing I don't have a house with an actual yard and gardens to take care of. I'd probably go the riotous English country garden route, LOL.
