About the only up side to being offline so long was the amount of reading I did for this month. So, here are thirteen books read since my last "Recently Read" post. As always, click any cover to find out more about the book.
BOOK NOTES:
* The Time Machine by H.G. Wells was a group read for TNBBC at GoodReads. Not only good, but a fast read. It was featured in one of my last Teaser Tuesday posts.
* As you can see, I finished all of the Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega books by Patricia Briggs. Two great entertwining series, though I do recommend reading in order. Can't believe we have to wait until February 2013 for the next one, Frost Burned. Sigh...
* The three by Jeaniene Frost were short stories of 60-70 pages each that were previously published in anthologies and are now available singly in ebook format. I read all three in one day.
* Dead Reckoning is Sookie Stackhouse #11. I have the most recent book, Deadlocked, in Mount TBR.

Sounds like you've been busy. I'm currently reading a YA book called The Shifter by Janice Hardy. It's hard to put down.

I haven't read "Fair Game" yet--is it Anna and Charles?
Joyce: Yes, pretty busy. It's amazing how much readong one can do when not distracted by the computer or TV (no cable and I hate summer programing) or other things in life. ;)
Kaye: Yes, Fair Game features Anna and Charles, and had quite the surprise ending.
I love Patricia Briggs' books. I'm also a little envious about your readathon. Broken computers have their advantages.
I've not read any of these; I will have to look up Patricia Briggs.
Shelley: Yes, sometimes broken computers do serve a purpose. Very inconvenient when you want/need to look something up, though.
Anita: If you like paranormal/urban fantasy with werewolves, I do hope you will check out Patricia Briggs. They are good, fun books!
You put me to shame!
Colleen: No need to feel shame--I obviously have no life, LOL. Actually, most of my reading was done in the evenings, sometimes late into the night, depending how engrossed in a book I was. It's been too hot to do much else.
You read all three in one day? What a compliment to the author! This TT was a great idea.
Yes, I read all three Frost novellas in one day, but they were fairly short. Combined they would have been about the equivelent of reading one full-length novel.
During the weeks I was without my home computer I averaged about one book a day, and am currently on book 21 just for this month alone. Been a long time since I read that much in such a short period!
My goal for 2012 is 100 books, and I am currently on number 67--that's 18 ahead of my goal. Of course, July is going to be so busy, it is sure to cut that lead in half.

I feel your pain. Just the few days I went with my dead laptop were bad for me.
