Random Photo: Flowering Stump
This tree stump in a neighborhood yard has long intrigued me. Rather than cut the tree down low to the ground as most would do, they cut of the branches near the trunk and left about six feet of it standing. There are currently several pots of flowers hung all around it, but there have been seasonal decorations at other times of the year. It's especially spooky-looking in Autumn.

My MIL has a tree like this. It has a fern growing out of it.
I'll bet that looks pretty cool. They cut down a tree outside my building last summer, leaving a stump a few inches above the ground. Up until a couple weeks ago it had another baby tree growing out of the center of it. Gee, if they don't want stuff growing out of it, maybe they should seal it?
Hmmmm...If they ever take away the dead tree, I may hafta do something awesome like this to the new(is)stump in my yard. hehehe Too cute!
Uh-huh... Except you would have to use fake flowers, 'cause we both know it would rarely get watered otherwise. ; )
How well you know me... haha
Scary, isn't it? :-D
