I heard there was snow coming to Wisconsin already. That can't be true if everything is as green and lovely as in this pic! Hurray!

A sure sign of fall.

Mail4Rosey: They have had some flurries or rain/snow mix up north, but none here in the southern part of the state. The earliest I've seen snow down here is late October, and even then it's only flurries or mixed with rain. We have had a couple freeze warnings, though.

Bernie: Happy to share another new flower with you. The prairies and roadsides are teeming with asters of all shapes and sizes right now. I have one for next week that looks similar to this one.

Beth: Indeed they are. There are asters and mums everywhere. I love it!

I love wild aster! Too bad they don't last long in the vase.

Colleen: They don't last long in nature, either. On a long walk this evening I noted that many of the New England and Sky Blue varieties have already started to die off after a few cold nights. The heath asters, however, are still going crazy.

Carol: Fall is usually my favorite season. I love the crisp air, the crunch under foot, the colors and fall flowers....

Jennifer: Thank you, you take some pretty good pics yourself.

Thanks, Lea! *g*
