Skywatch Friday 29

The view from my windows last Thursday . . .

Front window--normally you can see across the street.

Back window--you can usually see the highway in the distance

No rain today, though it is still pretty cloudy. The skies have been dreary and overcast most of the week, but rumor has it we may actually see the sun today.

Very moody looking. ;-)

Rained a gullywasher here Wednesday--I wasn't expecting it so I didn't have my umbrella and had to walk barefoot to the car because I'd worn flip flops. I got soaked. Today its drizzling rain. Possible rain tomorrow. *sigh*

I know we need the rain but...

Thanks, Jana! Sorry you got soaked Wednesday. Sometimes I think the dreary drizzly stuff you have today is worse than an outright downpour.

I posted pretty much that exact picture not too long ago ;>). It's a very hones post. Sometimes that's all we get for sky! We have had a lot of rain here in Fort Myers this week. Enough to last me for a while.

It rained a little in Dallas, but not enough to really water my trees...then...enough to make my grasses crazy tall!

Liz: Thank you!

Sallie: Yes, sometimes this is all you get when looking skyward. We've had intermittent light showers here today, but nothing like we had last week, or what the eastern coast has been getting the past three days.

Shoshana: That's one of the downsides to rain: you get a pretty, deep emerald green, but it also grows like crazy!

We had two solid week of rain, cold, overcast, and then four days of clear blue. It's starting to get dry again already. I may have to actually stop and water the lawn.

Alice: We could use a couple days without rain to dry out. There are farmers who still haven't been able to plant. We're actually supposed to have some sun this week, and temps in the upper 70s/low 80s.
