Good skies.

Skies at this time of the year just seem to be a deeper blue - so pretty!

Jim: Thank you!

Lea: Yes, they do seem to be a deeper blue. We've had a lot of cloudless skies lately -- or at least we had until today -- which makes for boring skies and tricky situations with light. We were at an orchard/pumpkin patch over the weekend, and the cloudless sky made it difficult to get good photos -- even impossible at times.

These take me directly to a happy place. :)

Jana: Aw, how nice. And while these skies look so serene, you should have seen the dramatics going on overhead here Saturday. I happened to be in the right place at the right time in order to capture some awesome sky shots, if I do say so myself. *VBG*

Ironically, I think I like the telephone wires best, though that moon shot is excellent.

Alice: No irony necessary. I like that one, too, or I wouldn't have psoted it. ;)

Ironic because of how much time I spend photoshopping them out of my pix.

It all depends on the shot. Sometimes power lines can be truly annoying and ruin a perfectly beautiful photo. Other times, such as here, they seem to add a little something.
