Les Moutons

I received this pair of sheep in Tuesday's mail, from friends in Norway. And yes, technically I suppose I should have titled this post "får" instead of "moutons," but my French is a hundred times better than my Norwegian. Plus, I didn't have to look up the French word for sheep.

Anyway, this duo helped brighten an otherwise dismal week.

And how could they not? Just look at those cute little faces.

Tell me they aren't the cutest little handmade ornaments ever.

I wasted no time in making room for them on my little tree, and will probably leave them out after Christmas . . .

They look fantastic on your tree.

My great aunts used to make things like them. I'm not sure what happened to it all over the years.

Jana: Aren't they cute? They are as soft and cuddly as they look.

Alice: Thanks! I think it would be cool to be able to make stuff like this, but have never learned how to crochet. Maybe one of these days...
