Thursday Thirteen 314: Recently Viewed

I haven't done this one in a while, so thought I would share some of the most recently viewed movies, starting with the most recent. Yes, a good portion of them are Christmas movies. The time spent watching them was not idle, but spent making Christmas cards or finishing Christmas presents--and I'm still way behind on the latter. Good thing I have until New Year's Eve to finish some of them!

As always, click on the link to find out more about a movie. A (*) denotes movies I have seen before.

I think The Elf with Will Ferrell is funny and would make a good yearly movie watching tradition.

I thought What did the Fox Say was stupid. But I think they meant it to be.

I think White Christmas is the only one of those I have seen. I need to watch more TV - did I really just write that?

I haven't seen many of these either. I don't seem to be a movie person.

Alice: Not really, but I'm trying to get there by Monday. Nearly breaking my hand this week has not helped lift my spirits. It may not be broken, but it is bruised and still a little swollen. It's really set me back a bit this week. :-\

Colleen: Elf is actually one of the few Christmas movies I can't stand. I am not a Will Ferrell fan.

Sidne: Thanks for commisserating on the need for word ver. I know some people refuse to comment when it is used, but sometimes evil spammers give a person no choice. Thanks for checking out my movie list!

Anita: LOL... Don't feel too bad. A lot of these were new movies on the Hallmarh channel this year. I watched them at a friend's house while we worked on cards and Christmas presents. I still have a stack of faves I haven't had a chance to see yet this year.

Heather said...

Paige: Notting Hill is one of my favorite romantic movies, and one I can watch over and over again.

Heather said...

Shelley: As I told Anita, don't feel too bad about not seeing or even hearing of some fo these. At least half were Hallmark movies, so may not have even made it to your corner of the world yet.

I've been wanting to see Notting Hill again for a couple of months now. I need to see if I can find a copy of it somewhere. We watched Olympus Has Fallen about three weeks ago and loved it, but then again I love everything with Gerard Butler in it. He is HOTTTTTT.

Stephanie: LOL...Olympus Has Fallen was one we wanted to see earlier this year but missed. When we found it really cheap on Blu-Ray as part of WalMart's Black Friday sales, we couldn't resist buying it. And yeah, he is pretty good looking.

A friend picked up Notting Hill earlier this year in a 4-pack of rom-coms for only $10 at Target, so I'm sure you should be able to find it.
