Thanks, Jana! I saw my first tulips last night, blooming in front of my building. They were not there when I left in the morning. Well, we have a sea of green leaves, but these are the first actual flowers. Here's hoping the bunnies don't get them!
Used to be there were always tulips or crocus or some such in my yard. Always, they were planted by someone who owned the house before me, and I just watered them and let them go. Not so with my current house. I may have to actually plant some.

Pretty! We've just planted bulbs for next spring, and some are starting to come up.

Thanks, Shelley! I love that we're starting to see flowers, even though temps are still in the 30s and 40s at night.
Lovely. :-)

Yup, you definitely need to plant some this fall. Be sure to plant daffodils in among the tulips to deter bunnies from eating them. ;)
