Skywatch Friday 84

Taken last Wednesday afternoon, Nov 26, at a nearby park . . .

The sun tries to peak through the thick clouds . . .

The sun through some pine boughs . . .

The Queen Anne's Lace was looking pretty in its new finery . . .

Looking out over the sledding hill at a nearby park -- in the top middle
you can just make out the smoke from a distant chimney stack.

For more of this "frosted" wonderland, see yesterday's post.

The sun almost looks like the moon, instead. ;-)

Love the snowy Queen Ann's Lace. All of it, really. All that SNOW.

Just like a dusting of confectioners' sugar!
Have a great week-end!

Thanks, Freda!

Jana: Doesn't it? That's why I made sure to label it. Alas, almost all the snow from two weeks ago has melted. Up side: safer walkways. Down side: ugly, barren landscape.

Lea: Thank you, I hope you have a good weekend, too! ☺

The sun can look so odd through a layer of clouds. We've been seeing it that way a lot this week. It's ten to twenty degrees warmer, but hard to get enough light for pictures.

No sun here, today. Though we were above freezing, it was overcast and dreary - definitely not good for photography.
