Wordless Wednesday 162: Neighborhood Christmas Decorations

Did you note the squirrel?

I think there's something more sad than festive
about this trio of trees.

I love the thought of celebrating neighbourhood Christmas decorations - must get the wreath on my door before it's too late!!

Have a Merry - and meaningful - Christmas!

Believe it or not, this is so much more than my neighborhood, where one of my neighbors has a tree in the window, and that's it. No one else did a thing.

Emma: I love walking/riding around the neighborhood seeing how people have decorated. These are but a few I saw and which I was actually able to photograph.

Gattina: Our neighborhood is a mix of both. Some people did a lot of lights this year, while others did nothing.

Sue: Some are, anyway. Some years it seems like more people decorate for fall/Halloween than Christmas. I love seeing all the lights when it get dark so early.

Rhonda: Some streets are like that. A friend's neighborhood has a lot of lights and decorations, while only three houses on her Mom's street have something up.

Colleen: You're welcome -- and I'm glad it's not just me, LOL.

Sweet!

I didn't do much in the way of decorating this year. Not really feeling it. And believe it or not, I actually took my tree down this Saturday instead of waiting until mid-January like I usually do. My distaste for Christmas this year motivated me out of my laziness! lol

Jana: I didn't do much this year, either. While I did hang up my wreaths, I never did lights in the window, or put up my little tree -- a combination of being sick and the Christmas blahs. I did help decorate Kim's yard, and help put up two trees at her house, though.
