A friend in Florida painted seashells for everyone -- mine is covered in gold glitter. Lovelovelove! |
Another friend does a ceramic ornament for everyone every year. |
My thoughts in words and pictures...

You must have quite the collection by now.
Alice: I do indeed. Between the handmade and the store bought, I have enough for two or three trees.
I knew you decorated and did the Christmas card thing, but I hadn't really realized until now how much you are into it.
I actually didn't do much this year. Though I did get my wreaths out, I never did get my little tree up this year -- though I did help set up two elsewhere, and helped a friend with her yard decorations.
Some of the store-bought ornaments date back to when I was a kid, and many were gifts from friends or family. When I dod get my 3-foot tree up, I only decorate it with handmade ornaments.
My sister has enough ornaments that, in addition to the main tree in the living room, there are years she does a second, slightly smaller Disney tree in the basement family room. My niece has a skinny purple Christmas tree in her bedroom.
This past weekend while helping Kim take down her tree and then move boxes and storage bins from basement storage area to family room for an organization overhaul, we joked about the fact that she has enough Star Wars ornaments to decorate an entire tree -- which she now has decided she may do this year.
All terrific! I especially love the snowman. :)
Jana: He is cute, isn't he? *G*
