Is it my imagination, or do sunsets and sunrises look alike in winter? Seems in summer the sunsets are more spectacular than the sunrises. Or maybe I'm just not up then.
ROFL... You may have a point there. While I have seen an occasional stunning sunset in winter, there are not as many in our part of the country as in summer. I think the fact that the ground is frozen, and therefore not as much dirt or other particles in the air might be a factor.
Pretty, peaceful sunset sky :-) It seems to me, that in winter, the sunsets seem to be a lot more spectacular when there is a storm coming in...at least around these parts..
Karen: Sometimes -- it depends on the cloud cover, and we've had a lot of gray, overcast skies of late. It's rare to get decent sunsets two days in a row.
Thanks, Mary!
Jana: Isn't that a lovely, rosy shade of pink? *G*

I hadn't even thought about dirt in the air, but that would be an important factor.
Alice: Yup. Dirt, ash, smoke, smog -- they all contribute to the more spectacular sunsets.
