Thanks, Sue -- it looked like they were having fun racing through the snow.

I have never snow... it looks so beautiful... Would love to visit a cold place someday :)

Thanks, Rajlakshmi! While it has been cold, we have not had as much snow here as we usually do, but are glad not to have what parts of the northeastern states got last night and today. The lack of snow is the only reason I ventured out last week, and saw the turkeys racing through the snow. They are so funny to watch, they always make me smile. ☺

I've never seen a wild Turkey! We don't get them here in the UK (at least I don't think we do!)

How cool are they!! Thanks for sharing :)

Pippa: Glad to introduce you to them! Wild turkeys are native to North America, though some have apparently been introduced to other countries such as England and New Zealand. It is quite common to see them walking around my urban neighborhood.

Kimberly: Thanks, doesn't it look like they are having fun in that second photo, racing through the snow? ☺

Gotta love the wild turkeys! We haven't had any at our house for a while (at least I haven't seen them). But there are several flocks that hang out in the McFarland area. I love to see the little poults following the adults. :)

Beth: I was disappointed not to see any while walking the last two Fridays. Would have loved to get out yesterday for some snow pics, but that wind was too darn fierce.
